Tell us about your family.
My greatest sense of purpose is found in being a wife and mother.  Chris and I were married in 1990, just 9 months after being 'framed,' as Chris playfully calls it.  We have four incredible children and are welcoming precious grandchildren into the family.  Seven Rivers became our church home and school in 2014.  Here, I have found a place to serve my Lord and grow spiritually.

Who was an influential teacher for you, and why?
Mr. Gaitanis, my high school math teacher, not only loved math, he loved students.  He saw past my lack of interest and encouraged me to rise to my full potential.  His enthusiasm for math was contagious!  Although math never became my forte, learning to work hard at a skill that did not come naturally to me became one of the best lessons I developed in high school.

What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family -- cheering them on with my infamous 'you can do it' cheer, boisterously singing a song when triggered by a simple word or phrase, or cooking copious amounts of food for them to devour in mere minutes.  I also enjoy gardening , exploring new places, drinking coffee, and becoming one with my couch.

What do you love about SRCS?
That what you see is what you get - a strong sense of love and support.  We love each other, serve each other, and do our absolute best for each other.
