Tuition Assistance

Tuition and fees contribute a substantial part of the operating income of Seven Rivers Christian School and are determined by the cost of providing a quality education to our students.  While the availability of school resources, the number of qualified applicants, and overall budgetary constraints influence the level of assistance we can award, SRCS is committed to making grants available to as many eligible applicants as possible. To the extent feasible, the school board does not want students to miss the opportunity to attend SRCS solely for financial reasons. We are thankful to be able to offer assistance for those who demonstrate financial need as follows:

Florida Tax Credit Scholarship

Need-based assistance is available through the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship program administered by Step Up for Students or AAA Scholarships.  Currently, the scholarship provides between $6000-$6800 annually per student, depending on grade level.  Current household income guidelines and applications are available on the website for this provider, which can be accessed through the link on this page.  This scholarship usually closes down its applications in the spring because of high demand and limited funding.  Apply now or sign up to be notified when applications become available.  Scholarships must be renewed each year.  There is no obligation to attend SRCS by applying for or receiving the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship.

SRCS Financial Aid

Seven Rivers Christian School offers need-based tuition reduction for students who do not qualify for the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship.  Applications for assistance are made online only through FACTS, which can be accessed through the link on this page. Typical levels of assistance range from approximately 6% to 45% of a student’s tuition, depending on the recommendation from FACTS.  Written offers of assistance are made by SRCS and mailed to families who are currently enrolled at SRCS or who have submitted a paid application for admission.  Financial assistance must be renewed each year by submitting an application to FACTS.

Families applying for admission to SRCS who find they will need tuition assistance should begin the process of obtaining financial aid at the same time they submit their application to the school.  It can take from several weeks to several months to complete this process and receive a financial aid award.  Applications must be submitted online through the links on this page.  Documentation is required by all financial aid review companies to complete the application process.  The Business Office can answer questions about the process but does not accept any confidential family information and cannot submit applications.  Written award decisions are sent directly to families from Florida Tax Credit Scholarship providers or from SRCS.  The award letter will give instructions for claiming the scholarship or tuition reduction.
