Warrior One Fund
From the day Seven Rivers Christian School opened its doors in the fall of 1988, our mission has remained the same. We are steadfastly committed to providing an excellent education grounded in the Christian faith. And each year, Seven Rivers Christian School makes an appeal to all parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends of the school, asking for their support of this mission through the Warrior One Fund. The Warrior One Fund goes toward scholarships, capital needs, and the Annual Fund.
- Scholarships enable families with financial need to have access to a Christian education for their children.
- Capital needs include adding classroom and office space, expanding Warrior Park, and increasing parking.
- The Annual Fund is necessary to cover operating costs that are not covered through tuition income.
With the exception of money from the VPK program, we do not receive state or federal funding for our school. We rely solely on tuition, Florida corporations who invest in the Step Up program, and the graciousness of Seven Rivers Church. Tuition income serves primarily to fund teacher salaries, curriculum materials, and administrative costs. However, the full cost of providing an SRCS education exceeds the tuition that we bring in, and we depend on generous contributors to bridge that gap.
Some schools allow fundraising in which children sell cookie dough, candy bars, or popcorn, and the school receives a small portion of the sales income. Instead of this approach, the Warrior One Fund allows students to be about the business of learning while ensuring that 100% of your contribution goes directly to the school.
The Warrior One Fund drive begins in September and runs through the school year. Gifts are voluntary, but we desire for everyone to play a role in advancing the school's mission with their participation. Parent participation expresses a commitment to the quality educational experience of our students. Pledges at all levels are needed and help us reach our goal, whether the pledge is $25 or $2,500. We hope you believe in our mission and will prayerfully consider supporting us in this endeavor.
