Tell us about your family.
My husband and I have a big and very fun family -- five kids and currently six grandchildren.

What were you like as a child?
As a child, I loved the outdoors and all animals.  I was happiest when I was on my horse just exploring all day.

What is a favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory would be the times when my family and I went camping.

What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, and camping.

What is your favorite course to teach, and why?
My favorite course to teach is Bible.  I love the way my kids soak up everything I say.  They trust the gospel with unabashed glory, and they are never ashamed to love Jesus.

What do enjoy most about your job?
I love my job mainly because because I love Christ and children, and to be able to mix the two together is a dream come true.

What is a fond SRCS memory?
I have experienced many memorable events over the past decades at SRCS, but I think what stands out most are the many relationships I have developed with my students, their parents, and the school staff.  I'm constantly reminded that being a teacher here is so much more than just a job.

What is a favorite quote of yours?
A quote I love to teach my students is "Before you speak, think, be smart.  It's hard to mend a broken heart."  I stress kindness in my class.  I feel like life is tough enough, and we all need a safe place.
