Tell us about your family.
I am married to June (4th grade teacher at SRCS) and have five kids (Kristen, Brett, Casey, Katie, and Sam) and three grandchildren (Alex, Henry, and Libby).
What were you like as a child?
All I did was play sports, watch sports, talk sports (football, baseball, basketball, hockey).
What's a favorite childhood memory?
The 1969 Mets and Jets championships, and my brother Don always allowing me to play sports with him and his friends even though they were five years older than me.
What are your interests outside of work?
Family, sports, history
What makes a great teacher?
My wife, June, is a great teacher. She loves our school and her students and will work as hard as she can to make them successful.
What do you love about SRCS?
The list is too long to include everything, but mostly the relationships with the kids.
What is a fond SRCS memory?
Practices, games, championships, classroom interaction
What do you most enjoy about your job?
Relationships. Trying to make our athletic department the best it can be to give our kids the best high school athletic experience possible.
What is a favorite quote?
John 3:16 -- "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Anything else you'd like us to know about you?
I have the best job in the world at the best school! It's a blessing from God!
