Tell us about your family.
As a little girl, one of my deepest desires was to one day become a wife and a mother, and the Lord has now blessed me with a beautiful family.  In 2013, I married the love of my life, Anthony, and we have two children, Alexander and Addison.  My husband and I serve as youth pastors at a local church and love seeing the Lord work in the lives of our youth students.

Who was an influential teacher for you, and why?
Ms. Combs was by far my most influential teacher!  She was a classy lady that I admire so much!  She not only taught me the course material, but she taught me how to be respectful, kind-hearted, lady-like, and most of all, an excellent leader.  I cherish the high school classes I had with her.

What is your favorite course to teach, and why?
Quite unexpectedly, history became my favorite course to teach.  I never connected to history when I was in grammar school, but teaching history granted me a brand new appreciation for our country and the sacrifices made over the years to preserve our freedom.

What makes a great teacher?
Having the ability to create an environment that is conducive to learning, yet provides a sense of security, unity, creativity, and fun!

What do you most enjoy about your job?
Influence.  I love how moldable and impressionable students are.  It's amazing to see how they can mature and change in just one year!
