Tell us about your family.
My wife, Deanne, and I have four children (plus a daughter-in-law and one grandson!).  Our three adult children live in New Jersey.  Our youngest, Chase, moved with us to Florida and is a student at SRCS.

What is your favorite course to teach, and why?
My favorite course to teach is U. S. History, where we can explore the birth and rise of our great nation.

What do you love about SRCS?
We are new to the area, but the staff and students have made us feel like family from day one.

What are your interests outside of work?
Sports, camping, and reading.  I have been involved in coaching baseball for many years and am already coaching a travel baseball team here in Crystal River.  At home, we usually have a game on!  We own an RV and look forward to exploring campgrounds on Florida's Nature Coast.  I love to read and can usually be found with a history book in hand!

Anything else you'd like us to know about you?
I am on my third career!  I spent 12 years working in the Fire Dept./EMS and the last 13 years working in law enforcement, retiring in May 2020.  God led our family to SRCS, where I am beginning my new career as a full-time teacher.  My favorite Bible verse is Micah 6:8: "He has shown you, O man, what is good.  And what does the Lord require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
