Tell us about your family.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Paul, since 1991. We have two children -- Liam, who is married to Sarah, and Reilly. Both Liam and Reilly attended SRCS from K3-12th grade.

Why did you become a teacher?

When I was in high school, I tutored elementary students as an after-school job. I would also walk from my high school to the neighboring elementary school to work with Kindergarten students as an elective. I realized I had a knack for helping children understand concepts, and I also liked it.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love to cook and bake, especially when my kids come home to visit. Paul and I love to travel.

What do you love about SRCS?

I love the skilled, talented, and passionate people with whom I work. What a blessing to love coming to work daily with people of one mind and one accord on a mission to love children and give them an amazing academic experience.

What do you most enjoy about your job?

I'm honored to have been a part of this school ministry for 25 years as a teacher and director of advancement.
