Tell us about your family.

My husband, Aaron, is a firefighter for the City of Ocala, and together we have two beautiful girls, Brooke and Blair. Brooke, our older daughter, is a student here at SRCS, so being part of this school community is especially meaningful to our family. Our girls bring so much joy and laughter into our lives, and we love making memories together as a family.

Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. I truly believe that God created me to be a teacher and gave me a passion for helping children learn, grow, and discover their God-given potential. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching my former students grow over the years and seeing the wonderful people they become.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, especially enjoying the great outdoors. We love taking walks, going on bike rides, and camping together.

What do you most enjoy about your job?

What I most enjoy about my job is watching students grow - not only academically, but also as little people. I love seeing their confidence develop, watching them discover who they are and what they are capable of, and knowing that I had an opportunity to play a small part in their journey.
