Tell us about your family.
I have been married to my husband, Dustin, since 2011, and we have two daughters and one son. All three of our children attend SRCS.
What were you like as a child?
Talkative and outgoing. If you asked my husband, he would say not much has changed.
What's a favorite childhood memory?
Going to the river or beach with my family. We loved long days by the water, swimming or enjoying the sun.
What is your favorite course to teach, and why?
I love teaching foundational skills for reading! Watching a child learn to read and then develop into a fluent reader is one of the most rewarding feelings as a teacher.
What makes a great teacher?
Consistency and structure. Students thrive in an environment where they feel comfortable and know what to expect.
