Capital Campaign: We Believe - FAQs
What is the We Believe campaign?
The We Believe campaign is a three-year initiative aimed at raising the necessary funds to construct a new high school building and gymnasium on our campus, we well as to expand parking and infrastructure to accommodate increased student and faculty growth. This project represents a significant investment in our students' future.
Why is a capital campaign important?
A capital campaign is essential because it enables us to make significant long-term investments that wouldn't be possible through regular funding sources alone, such as our Warrior One Fund. In the context of building a new school, this type of campaign ensures that resources are secured for a transformative project -- providing more classrooms for students with improved and expanded learning spaces and increased opportunities for academic success. Beyond just financial support, the We Believe capital campaign will unite donors, families, and stakeholders around a shared vision. We hope to cultivate a sense of collective ownership and pride in the school's future.
How is this different from the SRCS Warrior One Fund?
The Warrior One Fund is an all-encompassing fund that provides tuition assistance and supports capital projects. For many years, it helped bridge the gap between tuition received and funds needed to operate SRCS. Thanks to increased enrollment, this is no longer needed. The We Believe campaign will serve to garner funds expressly for building the new high school, gym, and necessary infrastructure. We will continue to raise funds for tuition assistance.
What is the high school and gym project expected to cost? How will it be funded?
The high school and gym project is expected to cost $15 million. It will be funded through Seven Rivers Church and Seven Rivers Christian School families, supporters, and stakeholders. It will take our entire school community coming together alongside the church's families to fund this project. As the leaders of SRCS, we are excited to be at this pivotal moment in our school's history, when our school community will stand together as one to play a significant first-time role in building up the future for our students and teachers.
How much of the school's operating budget is actually funded by Seven Rivers Church?
Since the founding of SRCS, Seven Rivers Church has sacrificially and generously supported our programs and infrastructure. We are deeply grateful for God's provision and for the growth He has brought through increased enrollment in recent years. As a result, SRCS is now able to cover nearly all of its annual operating costs, requiring support for only about 3% of the budget.
What are the differences between the church's He Must Increase campaign and the school's We Believe campaign?
Seven Rivers Church kicked off the He Must Increase generosity initiative to fund their mission and ministries (operating costs) for the next two years, which includes significantly contributing toward the construction of the new high school and gym. As the high school and gym represent the largest capital project in our church's history, the school is launching its first-ever capital campaign, We Believe, to help raise the necessary funds. Seven Rivers Church is committed now and with future campaigns to see this project completed, but the church cannot do this on its own. The success of both the church and school campaigns is essential for bringing this vision to life.

- June 2026 - Building construction begins
- May 2027 - Construction should be completed
- Fall of 2027 - Students, faculty, and staff move into the building
