Tell us about your family.
My husband, David, and I have been married since 2010. We were blessed with two beautiful children, Mia and Dante.
Why did you become a teacher?
I was working as an interpreter for a hearing-impaired kindergarten student. She was struggling with addition, and after using several different strategies, she finally understood. The look on her face is what inspired me to work with children and pursue teaching.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I most enjoy meeting and building relationships with my students. I love watching them learn and grow throughout the school year.
What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dogs, and working in the yard.
