SRCS provides education for several small communities and isolated residential areas representing a population with diverse cultural backgrounds. Citrus County is known as the "Nature Coast of Florida." School SRCS graduated their first senior class of seven students in May of 2000. Seven Rivers Christian School Accreditation Due to these affiliations SRCS is recognized by the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools and is member school of the Florida High School Athletic Association. Citrus County is known as the "Nature Coast of Florida." Thirty-six (36) weeks; two (2) semesters; four (4) nine-week periods. Upper School (7-12): 8:15 a.m. - 3:15 a.m. Students may be dropped off at the gymnasium as early as 7:45 a.m. Students who are not involved in a supervised after-school activity and are not picked up in a timely manner will be supervised by an SRCS teacher until picked up by their parents (or designee). A charge of $5.00 per 15-minute increment of supervised time will be billed to the student's account. School attire is available through Sunshine School Uniform, www.sunshineuniforms.com The purpose of the uniform dress code is to clarify a standard of appearance which will encourage our students to bring glory to God (I Corinthians 10:31) in an atmosphere free from distraction. SRCS strives to keep parents and students informed at all levels. We provide a newsletter containing school wide information, schoolwork from the previous week, and a variety of flyers addressing upcoming school opportunities. Throughout the year parents receive progress reports which include information about missing assignments, low grades and unsatisfactory conduct.
