Seven Rivers Christian School offers preschool programs for children who are 3- or 4-years-old by September 1st and potty-trained. We participate in the Florida VPK program for 4-year-olds. Children are only eligible to participate in the VPK program the year they are 4-years-old on or before September 1st. Older students are accepted in the paid program.

Three-year-old classes meet half-days either 2 days/week (T,Th) or 3 days/week (M,W,F) from 8:30 AM until 11:45 AM. The option for extended care until 3:00 PM is available at an additional charge, billed monthly based on days attended.

Four-year-old classes meet either 3 full-days/week (M,W,F) from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM or 5 half-days/week from 8:30 AM until 11:45 AM. The option for extended care until 3:00 PM is available at an additional charge, billed monthly based on days attended.

SRCS is a Gold Seal Accreditation school for the VPK program. All the teachers are veteran teachers, and they all have degrees and/or professional early childhood certification.

VPK Application Requirements
In order to take advantage of the VPK funding, you must apply through the Early Learning Coalition of the Nature Coast and complete the Seven Rivers Christian Preschool application for your child. The VPK application is available at 1564 N. Meadowcrest Blvd. in Crystal River. You will be required to provide your child's proof of age (4-years-old on or before September 1st) and your proof of residency. All Preschool Applicants
Please read and answer all questions on the application form. Return completed application to the school office along with the following items:

• Birth Certificate
  A copy of the student's original birth certificate issued by the Bureau of Vital Statistics
• Immunization Records
  HRS Form 3040, School Entry Health Exam, completed by a Florida physician
  HRS Form 680, Florida Certificate of Immunization
• Signed Preschool Financial Obligations Contract
• Application Fee
  $40.00 Application Fee (non-refundable)
  NO FEE for VPK applicants (4-year-olds only)
  VPK students must provide the form they receive from Early Learning Coalition.

Enrollment Notification
Students are automatically accepted and placed on a class list unless the class they apply for is full. Parents will be notified if their student has been placed on a waiting list. Students will receive a welcome letter from their teacher about a week before school begins in the fall. You and your child will be invited to meet your classmates and teacher at the back-to-school drop by event held before the first day of school.
