Elementary EducationThe elementary grades provide a full range of academic course work. In the primary grades, priority is given to teaching reading and arithmetic skills. All of the grades are given formal instruction in Bible, science, mathematics, social studies, reading, language arts (creative writing, grammar, spelling and handwriting), physical education, art, computer, and music. Elementary curriculum details are available online. Standardized Testing Achievement tests are administered each spring in 1st - 8th grade.
