Principles of Learning

Grammar Education

The elementary grades provide a full range of academic course work. In the primary grades, priority is given to teaching reading and arithmetic skills. All of the grades are given formal instruction in Bible, science, mathematics, social studies, reading, language arts (creative writing, grammar, spelling and handwriting), physical education, art, computer, and music. Elementary curriculum details are available online.

Standardized Testing

Achievement tests are administered each spring in 1st - 8th grade.
Students consistently score above average each year on the tests.

Chapel/Bible

Weekly chapel services allow students and faculty members to experience worship,
praise, instruction and fellowship.
The NIV version of the Bible is used in our Bible curriculum.

Corporate Tax Credit Scholarship

We participate in the Corporate Tax Credit Scholarship program administered by Step Up For Students. This program provides need based assistance of $3,950.00 per student to qualified students. Students must be coming from a Florida public school or entering kindergarten or first grade to qualify for this program. Current household income guidelines and applications are available on the Step Up For Students website linked above.

Seven Rivers Christian School does not participate in the McKay Scholarship program.
