Welcome Back to the SRCS Media Center
The mission of the Seven Rivers Media Center is to cultivate minds for truth and hearts
for God by preparing students for life-long learning, informed decision-making, a love
of reading, and the use of information technologies thereby equipping them to
transform the culture in their areas of responsibility.

Schedule
SRCS Library features an "open-access" media center. Students are encouraged to use the media center at any time -- individually, in small groups, or with their entire class. Elementary classes
(K3-6th) have weekly half hour media center class period scheduled.

Volunteers
The library media center is always looking for adult volunteers to help shelve books, prepare
new materials, and other tasks. If you are interested in helping to build lifelong learners,
please contact us at 746--5696 Ext. 331.

FALL BOOK FAIR: Volunteers Needed. At the 2009 -2010 Scholastic Book Fair 633 books were purchased which allowed us to spend $2025 on new books for our library. We purchased around 150 books to add to our collection. These included fiction, non-fiction and AR books for our shelves. The 2010 -2011 Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled for November 15th through November 19th. This is our one big fund raiser for our media center. We are looking for a book fair chairman and extra hands to help to make our book fair successful. If you would like to volunteer please stop by or call the library and let us show you how much fun helping at the book fair can be.

Accelerated Reader Program

We are expecting the Accelerated Reader Program to take off with a bang.
As a school we read 4,800 books last year and look forward to beating that record this year. 

See your student's Progress: Renaissance Home Connect is a fun, easy-to-use,
easy-to-understand web-based interface that allows the student, parents and teacher
to share in the educational experience by viewing progress in Renaissance Place programs while outside of school. Log in, using your student AR username and password, at https://Hosted134.renlearn.com/71952/HomeConnect/Login.aspx 

AR Book Finder is a website you can connect to from any internet accessible computer. This website allows you to look up AR books by title, author, subject, or reading level.  Seven Rivers Christian School has access to tests for all books listed on this site.  http://www.arbookfind.com/default.aspx
